Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. By browsing the site or buying from it, you accept them.

The site is operated by Kenishma Sarees, Kenishma Sarees, 2nd Floor, Kalaghoda Lane, Bengaluru 560001, India. Where these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean Kenishma Sarees.

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a contract under Indian law, to place an order.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, and for keeping any account credentials to yourself.

We photograph every saree as faithfully as we can, but screens differ and handwoven cloth varies between pieces. Slight variation in colour, weave and finish is characteristic of handloom and is described more fully in our Refund & Returns Policy.

Measurements given are approximate. Because each piece is woven individually, small differences in length and width are normal.

Stock is limited and often a single piece. We may withdraw a product from sale at any time.

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes. International customers may additionally owe import duties, as set out in our Shipping Policy.

Payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your card details.

We take reasonable care with pricing, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We will always tell you before doing so.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we confirm dispatch — the confirmation email you receive at checkout acknowledges your order but does not itself accept it.

We may decline an order where the piece has sold, where we cannot ship to your address, or where we suspect fraud. In every such case you are refunded in full.

Our Refund & Returns Policy and Shipping Policy form part of these terms. Nothing in them affects the rights you have under Indian consumer law.

The photography, text, design and other material on this site belong to Kenishma Sarees or our contributors, and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.

You are welcome to share our images on social media with attribution.

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at volume, use it to break any law, or resell our products as your own work.

We stand behind what we sell, and our Refund & Returns Policy sets out how we put things right.

Beyond that, and to the extent Indian law permits, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as an occasion missed because a courier ran late.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
