Privacy Policy

When you place an order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number. We need these to send you a saree and to tell you where it is.

When you pay: our payment provider handles your card or UPI details directly. We never see or store them — we are told only whether the payment succeeded.

When you browse: basic technical information such as your device type, browser and the pages you visited, which tells us what is working and what is not.

When you subscribe or write to us: your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message.

To process and deliver your order, to handle returns and refunds, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

If you have asked for it, to send you occasional email about new weaves and trunk shows. Never otherwise.

Shopify, which runs our store and checkout, and stores order and customer records on our behalf.

Our payment provider, which processes the transaction.

The courier delivering your parcel, which receives your name, address and phone number.

Nobody else. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

We use the cookies our store platform needs in order to keep your bag intact between pages and complete checkout. Without these the site cannot function.

You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site — the bag especially — will stop working.

Marketing email goes only to people who asked for it. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and we act on it immediately.

Order confirmations, dispatch notices and replies to your questions are not marketing, and you will keep receiving those for as long as we are dealing with your order.

Order records are kept for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to care@kenishmasarees.com and we will respond within 30 days.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and payment is handled entirely by our provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold the data that would be most worth stealing.

This store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page.
